- Help secure cloud-based environments by implementing and configuring native security solutions across AWS and Azure environments.
- Support the application of Continuous Risk Management Framework practices by assisting in the automation of control implementation and evidence collection.
- Assist in automating the provisioning and configuration of information technology environments using Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Deploy and maintain security measures including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, encryption services, and identity, credential, and access management solutions.
- Help secure containerized and large-scale cloud production systems by applying container security best practices and monitoring runtime security.
- Apply cybersecurity concepts across threats, vulnerabilities, encryption, boundary defense, and risk management practices.
- Support identity and access management initiatives by implementing least-privilege models and cross-account role configurations.
- Create and maintain security documentation, including network diagrams, data flow diagrams, and operational manuals.
- Enforce cloud-native security best practices using frameworks such as the AWS Well-Architected Security Pillar.
- Collaborate across teams to support the integration of Zero Trust principles and Risk Management Framework requirements.
- Apply security controls aligned with Risk Management Framework, Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, and Defense Information Systems Agency Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide standards for Impact Level 4, 5, and 6 environments.
