Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • 6+ years of people operations experience (experience weathering a high-growth startup strongly preferred)
  • Strong understanding of human resources best practices and employment law
  • Experience in implementing and building HR automations and systems
  • Master’s Degree in Human Resources, I/O Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Industrial Psychology, or similar preferred
  • Certification in SHRM or HRCI preferred
Responsibilities
  • Automate workflows in HR processes to minimize inefficiencies and scale operations
  • Provide an immersive onboarding experience for new hires to highlight how their role has real impact on the business and the business of our customers
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement initiatives, such as surveys, team-building activities, and recognition programs. Help gather feedback from employees and contribute to creating an inclusive work environment.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, assist with benefits administration, and ensure HR data is up-to-date in HRIS systems. Help with the preparation of HR documents, including offer letters, contracts, and onboarding materials.
  • Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and provide basic guidance on HR policies and procedures. Support the HR team in addressing employee concerns and resolving issues.

The main product is the AllCar™ App, which allows car owners to compare insurance policies, refinance car loans, and monitor repair costs. Users can also receive rewards for good driving habits. The app simplifies the management of car expenses by providing features such as shopping for insurance, refinancing loans, and sending reminders for car service. Additionally, it offers cost estimates for repairs and replacements, making it a comprehensive tool for car owners. Jerry differentiates itself from competitors by handling the paperwork involved in switching insurance providers, which users find convenient and time-saving. The goal of Jerry is to help car owners save money and streamline their car ownership experience.
