Requirements
  • A minimum of ten years of marine operations and maritime experience, or a Bachelor of Science degree in Management, Marine Transportation, or Engineering and the equivalent of five years of related experience.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment, with the ability to work alone or as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously manage projects at various geographic locations.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand and walk for prolonged periods, and twist, bend, and squat periodically.
  • Current Secret-level security clearance; U.S. citizenship is required for the Secret clearance at this location.
Responsibilities
  • Provide program management on multiple contracts and/or task orders under a contract.
  • Serve as the primary technical customer contact for assigned contracts.
  • Supervise the contract-assigned workforce, including hiring, firing, salary management, and performance management.
  • Align opportunities with company capabilities and competencies.
  • Develop and maintain business relationships with key personnel and decision makers.
  • Arrange and coordinate capability presentations and briefs.
  • Develop new relationships and leverage existing relationships with decision makers to develop opportunity pipelines.
  • Participate in meetings, briefs, shows, presentations, and conferences.
  • Prepare and support capture plans and provide support on Logistics and Marine Group proposals.
  • Travel to various locations to participate in informational meetings regarding proposals and current contracts, meet with customers and key personnel, and provide on-site leadership as necessary.
  • Develop, implement, and apply management controls to ensure tasks and deliverables comply with customer requirements.
  • Validate technical and financial reports, analyze metrics, identify areas for improvement, and develop corrective-action solutions that meet operational goals.
  • Conduct program meetings and reviews and coordinate briefings with customers and senior management.
  • Organize project and task workloads and select the individuals most qualified for specific projects.
  • Lead business development processes, including identification, qualification, capture, and proposal activities; define win strategies; identify competitive discriminators; write technical proposals; and perform basis-of-estimate activities.
  • Oversee the budget of the assigned unit within a division.
Desired Qualifications
  • Navy small boat operations and maintenance experience.
  • PMP certification.
