Tripalink is seeking a Director to join our Capital Market Team. The Director will work across the organization to assist in all financial, operational, and compliance aspects of Tripalink’s properties. This role requires a deep understanding of real estate finance and capital markets, as well as the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with investors, lenders, and other financial partners. The Director of Capital Markets plays a key role within the investment team including capital markets, acquisitions, and development.
Responsibilities:
- Manage an investment portfolio of 85+ investment projects across different states
- Supervise staff to prepare financial reports, analysis, and other periodic reports required for shareholders and lenders, including statistical model, ROI, IRR, cashflow, and other KPIs
- Coordinate with asset management, finance, development, property management, and other departments as necessary to gather required information and verify the accuracy of information
- Establish and build productive relationships with local market brokers, institutional and equity partners, lenders, real estate owners, and many other business partners, foster a constant yet evolving company image and better public relationships
- Prepare and review new and existing loan/debt financing applications, regulatory applications, and other compliance matters
- Manage underwriting, due diligence and closing process for acquisitions and financing transactions
- Assist the execution of all loans, including pricing, loan structure, and draft term sheets, etc
- Support the formation of real estate transactions and relative documentation efforts
- Interface with Investment team, Asset Managers, Finance and Accounting, Lenders, and Attorneys
- Provide proactive support such as stress testing, scenario analysis, in-depth business/legal entity analysis and new business proposals
- Work cross-functionally across the organization to drive business growth
- Proven ability to read, abstract and analyze complex legal real estate related documentation including leases, financing/loan agreements, partnership agreements, construction documents, and corporate financial statements for relevant financial information that will impact the real estate transaction
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance or related field required.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in Real Estate.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required:
- Real Estate or Financial related experience preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
- A self-driven problem solver who is motivated to learn about real estate industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills.
