What believers are saying

  • May 20, 2026, AVIAN raised $2.6M from Founderful to hire engineers and sales.
  • AVIAN says it prevented $50M+ damages and is on track for $1M ARR.
  • August 2026 testimonials and sawmill listings show expanding traction beyond wood products.

What critics are saying

  • Sawmills still dominate AVIAN's installed base, leaving revenue exposed to one vertical.
  • FLIR, industrial IoT, and predictive-maintenance vendors already crowd the same budget line.
  • A single missed fire or false alarm can destroy trust and kill insurability-first positioning.

What makes AVIAN unique

  • AVIAN pairs infrared hardware, anomaly detection, alarms, and human support in one stack.
  • Its AVIAN Vision software retrofits existing CCTV with fire and smoke detection.
  • May 2026 deployments reached 50 sites across nine countries, proving cross-border field adoption.
