  • 15+ years of Software Engineering experience.
  • Experience leading large multi-site SaaS Engineering teams of 100+ people.
  • Experience growing teams through hiring.
  • Team design and organizational structure experience.
  • Proven successes developing high-availability, mission-critical systems.
  • Proven experience leveraging AWS (or similar) cloud environments.
  • Consumer and Enterprise Business platform development experience.
  • Highly collaborative style, with experience partnering with Product Management, Cloud Engineering, Data Science, Design, and User Research.
  • Experience in supporting Enterprise customers.
  • Healthcare and/or Financial services industry experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • A track record of delivering large, complex projects.
  • A track record of developing engineering leaders and high performance teams.
  • Experience driving technology and platform strategy that had meaningful business impact.
  • Deep understanding of agile practices at scale.
  • Affinity for and willingness to dive deep into technical details and grasp the intricacies of a complex platform.
  • Experience hiring and building teams with high employee engagement and morale.
  • Experience as a product leader in organizations of different sizes/maturity levels.
  • Experience scaling engineering organizations and platforms in a rapid growth company.
Responsibilities
  • Drive technology innovation for applications and services.
  • Lead engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with Product, Customer Experience, and Design leadership teams.
  • Manage and deliver cross-functional projects and initiatives.
  • Lead product technical architecture and drive architectural investments.
  • Drive innovation and practical delivery around machine learning and LLMs.
  • Define and implement the evolution of the technology platform.
  • Partner with Site Operations, Security, and IT.
  • Define platform and cloud infrastructure roadmaps and prioritization.
  • Lead Quality Engineering team.
  • Partner with Data teams.
  • Define and own a staffing and team strategy.
  • Manage technology roadmap and balance technology and platform investments.
  • Define long-term technology strategy and multi-year technology and infrastructure roadmap.
  • Help engineering teams and leaders develop and operate as high-performing teams.
  • Champion agile development practices and consistency across the product organization.
