UX/UI Designer I

Summary:

The UX/UI Designer is responsible for creating exceptional digital experiences that seamlessly blend usability, aesthetics, and functionality. The UX/UI Designer is responsible for designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring that products are easy to navigate and visually engaging. UX/UI Designer should have a strong background in user research, user interface design, and user experience principles. The UX/UI Designer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the products are intuitive, user-friendly, and customer-focused.

Essential Job Functions:

• Develop and implement user-centered design solutions that meet user and business needs.
• Conduct user research and apply insights to design, iteratively test, and improve digital products.
• Develop high-quality, interactive, and visually compelling user interfaces and user experiences.
• Define and implement design decisions that will impact the digital user experience across all products.
• Communicate design ideas, user flows, and prototypes through wireframes, storyboards, and user flows.
• Create interactive prototypes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Marketing, to ensure alignment on design goals.
• Stay up to date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Manage the entire design process from ideation to delivery, including prototyping, user testing, and final design.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This job is an individual contributor, with no direct reports and has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI design, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in UX/UI design or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience with responsive design for web and mobile applications.
• Experience with user research methods, such as persona development, journey-mapping, and user testing.
• Proficient in design tools.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
• Solid understanding of user research methods, including persona development, journey-mapping, and user testing techniques.
• Mortgage experience desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Comfortable providing and receiving feedback for design processes.
