Requirements
  • Availability for the assigned site period of at least four weeks.
  • Participation in the preparatory seminar.
  • Submission of an expanded certificate of good conduct issued no more than 90 days before the start of the assignment.
  • Submission of a first-aid certificate covering at least nine instructional units and issued no earlier than September 2024.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents.
  • Native-level German and very good English; additional foreign languages are advantageous.
  • Strong organizational skills, very good computer skills, and competence in administrative tasks.
  • Understanding of intercultural differences, a sense of responsibility, assertiveness, flexibility, resilience, and ability to work in a team.
Responsibilities
  • Organize and administer the summer course for up to 100 participants per week.
  • Mediate between all involved parties, including the local team, participants, host families, property management, and the central office.
  • Prepare the cultural and leisure program, including financial administration and accounting.
  • Handle quality assurance and complaint management.
  • Be present in the classrooms from Monday through Friday each morning.
  • Be reachable by telephone in the afternoon, evening, and on weekends when participants have problems.
  • Support the care team with the leisure program when needed.
