Requirements
  • A university degree in Engineering or Science.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Certification as an internal auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working with multidisciplinary and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data and apply statistical controls effectively.
  • Proficiency in DMAIC, 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, 5S, and other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Skills in Microsoft 365 tools, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to organize work, prioritize tasks, manage projects, negotiate, and solve problems.
  • Ability to solve complex, multidimensional problems and make informed decisions through thorough analysis, critical thinking, and professional judgment.
  • Ability to promote the adoption of effective quality and management tools and maintain high standards.
  • Ability to learn quickly and meet deadlines under pressure.
Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company requirements, quality team procedures, and assigned tasks within other processes.
  • Initiate and lead training programs to improve and standardize plant employees’ skills in quality control tools and Integrated Management System management, including risk analysis, root cause analysis, corrective and preventive action, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Gage Repeatability and Reproducibility, DPMO, DPPM, Cp, Cpk, A3, 8D, 5 Whys, DMAIC, Kaizen, and 5S.
  • Use qualitative and quantitative analyses, including statistical techniques, to identify problems, determine root causes, implement corrective and preventive actions, and improve plant performance, processes, procedures, and records.
  • Organize and lead regular meetings with plant process managers to exchange best practices and lessons learned and identify opportunities to standardize and simplify procedures and records.
  • Oversee the integration of all IPEX plants into the corporate ISO 9001 quality certification.
  • Lead improvements across IPEX and Aliaxis processes to ensure Integrated Management System compliance with international quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety standards.
  • Train multidisciplinary teams of Integrated Management System auditors, plan and lead internal audits, and use audit results to drive system improvements.
  • Ensure that root causes of nonconformities are identified and corrective and preventive actions are implemented.
  • Support Strategic Sourcing by conducting supplier qualification audits, issuing and monitoring Supplier Corrective Action Requests through closure, and applying Production Part Approval Process requirements to purchased items, including first-item inspections.
  • Collaborate with other processes to support projects and achieve corporate objectives.
  • Serve as the primary product-quality reference within IPEX by regularly visiting plants, improving processes, assisting managers with problem analysis and root-cause identification, and implementing preventive actions for nonconformities and customer complaints.
  • Carry out other assigned responsibilities.
