Responsibilities
  • Develop and oversee the execution of a comprehensive counterintelligence program tailored to the defense industry's unique threats and requirements
  • Coordinate with federal agencies, including the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and the FBI, to align company CI activities with national security priorities
  • Lead efforts to identify potential espionage indicators, insider threats, and vulnerabilities within the organization
  • Advise senior leadership on counterintelligence matters, threats, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Manage a team of counterintelligence professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure effective CI operations
  • Establish and maintain relationships with industry counterparts to share best practices and threat intelligence
  • Oversee the investigation of suspected CI incidents and the development of appropriate response measures
  • Conduct regular security briefings and training sessions for employees to foster a culture of security awareness and vigilance
  • Implement security policies and procedures that comply with government regulations and contractual obligations
  • Monitor global intelligence and security trends to adapt CI measures proactively
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the counterintelligence program
