- MA in a relevant field (i.e., science education) and/or extensive relevant experience as a school educator/pedagogue/community educator
- PhD or equivalent in a relevant field is an asset
- Expert knowledge of elementary science pedagogy, as outlined in the course description
- Research on elementary science pedagogy
- Research on elementary students’ scientific thinking and practice
- Experience as a master teacher/instructor in science, mathematics, or a related field in the Quebec educational system
- Knowledge of the Quebec Education Program (QEP)
- Familiarity with the professional competencies specified by the Ministère de l’Éducation
- Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate level
- Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion
- Familiarity using myCourses, ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences
- Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset
- Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools
- Familiarity of and/or experience with the practice-based pedagogies in science teacher education is an asset.

The McGill Dobson Centre for Entrepreneurship helps people at McGill turn ideas into startups by providing education, mentorship, and practical startup frameworks.
