  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree a plus)
  • 1–3 years of experience in real estate investment, asset management, property management, or related field; multifamily experience preferred
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with property management software and market research tools preferred
Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis – Research and track market trends, rental rates, occupancy levels, and competitive positioning to inform strategic decisions.
  • Financial Modeling & Budgeting – Prepare detailed pro forma budgets and financial analyses for potential development projects, acquisitions, and repositioning opportunities.
  • Data Analytics – Utilize ZRS’s internal data to gain insights into property performance and opportunities for site level enhancements.
  • Operational Understanding – Develop a working knowledge of property management procedures, including leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident services, to ensure alignment between investment strategy and day-to-day operations. Performing on-site property management duties may be required from time to time.
  • Special Projects – Support leadership with ad hoc initiatives such as due diligence, operational audits, portfolio reporting, process improvement efforts and analysis.
  • Collaboration – As requested, partner with internal departments across accounting, operations, and marketing to provide data-driven insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Reporting & Presentations – Prepare professional reports, presentations, and memos for leadership, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare internal case studies.
  • Act as lead during the new business presentation preparation process.
