We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to work in our London office, providing support to our engineering team. You’ll be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, as we grow our UK based team, collaborating with our US teams where required.

What You’ll Do
- Daily management of the UK engineering infrastructure
- Set and maintain technically excellent and secure operational production and non production environments
- Be the primary source of infrastructure knowledge in the UK team
- Provide support and assist with resolution of infrastructure issues
- Be a source of technical expertise and mentorship
- Liaise with both internal and external parties
- Participate in bespoke system and environment designs and documentation
- Monitoring of services, logs and auditing
- Working with development in delivering CI/CD pipelines, and developer environments
- Delivering and supporting the implementation of projects
- Build strong relationships with their peers as well as their teams’ relevant business stakeholders both in UK and US teams
What You’ll Bring
- Minimum 5 years of managing and building scalable cloud based infrastructure on AWS in an enterprise environment
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional / or equivalent
- AWS services: RDS, Aurora, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, EC2, Lambda functions, Elastic Beanstalk
- Awesome Linux skills (including hardening)
- Understanding and implementation of AWS security best practices and working knowledge of the “Well-Architected Framework”
- Experience in building infrastructure as code
- Experience using Python in a DevOps capacity
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively both independently and part of a team
- Ability to solve problems that don’t have an out of the box solution
- Communicate professionally, tactfully, and kindly while maintaining a high level of confidentiality at all times

Note: This role is offered as a hybrid position of 2 days office. Full remote can be considered, but occasional visits to the London Islington office may be required. Must be UK based resident
