THE OPPORTUNITY
We have an opportunity for a Junior Key Account Manager to support our rapidly growing business in Walmart Health and Beauty. In this role, you will own the partnership between ZURU and Walmart/Sam’s Club in our growing Beauty, Personal Care, and OTC Pharmacy business.
ZURU is a company built on a spirit of entrepreneurship and high-accountability. As the JKAM Beauty, you will own your P&L and results across all assigned departments. Additionally, you will utilize your analytical acumen to help support across the wider portfolio of ZURU brands in Baby, Pet, and Household Chemicals.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own and achieve targeted sales objectives for within Walmart and Sam’s Club Health and Beauty consistent with the annual business plan by leveraging data, consumer and shopper insights
- Build relationships and lead meetings with the buyers, planners and marketers on the Walmart Beauty, OTC Pharmacy, and Personal Care teams as the first layer of contact
- Identify business opportunities within these department and work with internal partners to create customized plans to drive results
- Support the ZURU Edge business with Walmart with analytics and insights across the wider Baby, Household Chemicals, and Pet portfolios
- Support the wider US business with deep insights on Beauty from a shopper and category perspective to drive optimizations in sales, marketing, and NPD
- Conduct internal discussions with demand, customer service, and marketing teams to ensure strong retail execution
- Design and implement display and prepack process to secure out of aisle space at retail accounts.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- 2 years of relevant experience with at least 1 year of it as an analyst
- Strong background in analytics, especially sales, shopper, and category insights
- Ability to build powerful category and shopper stories from comprehensive data sets to drive optimizations both internally and with the customer
- Passion for the beauty category, with previous experience in the beauty industry as a major advantage
- Experience in Walmart Luminate is a strong advantage, but not required
- Strong communication & influencing skills, with previous experience presenting to retail partners as a plus, but not required
- Leadership capability Including ability to influence and motivate cross-functional teams, while holding stakeholders accountable to deliver on business objectives
- A drive to develop quickly alongside the business and a relentless spirit to “level-up” in a culture of consistent growth and improvement
- Openness to give and receive feedback in a system of radical candor
