We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join our growing team! In this role, you will work collaboratively with team members in rolling out new services and processes, hardware renewals, and other IT projects. This is a great opportunity to up-level your IT skills and work on specializing in an IT function of your choice. This role is integral in ensuring that our employees remain as productive as possible by eliminating any technical friction and improving existing internal services. What you’ll do:
- Refresh and deploy company laptops (primarily Apple) using Wonolo’s MDM service
- Administer IT’s SaaS apps, e.g., provisioning, deprovisioning, and auditing user accounts across IT’s tech stack
- Help ensure compliance with company IT policies and security practices
- Train and support users in their use of Google Workspace apps, Zoom, Office 365, and other productivity apps
- Write and update Support documentation for end users
- Act as a primary stakeholder of IT’s Help Desk; proactively self-assign tickets, work to resolve user issues quickly and efficiently, and escalate issues in a timely manner when necessary
- Maintain asset tracking of end-user hardware and software, and part of complex IT projects involving multiple stakeholders
Who you are:
- You have 2-4+ years of experience in an IT role with hands-on experience supporting primarily macOS (some Windows is helpful), MDM, Google Workspace, and provisioning user accounts in various services
- You’ve worked in an environment which prioritizes security
- Strong knowledge of Apple devices, particularly laptops. Experience with administering and integrating SSO and identity management platforms (Okta, Active Directory, LDAP)
- You have experience with or the willingness to learn proper project management practices
- You’re comfortable providing IT support to remote/international teams/users; ability to resolve IT issues without physical access to a user’s computer
- You’ve worked in a customer service role helping various kinds of users
- You’re an outside of the box thinker with some knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and helping end-users with networking issues
- You have effective interpersonal skills and relationship building skills, and you’re a team player who has a desire to help others succeed
