  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, construction, construction technology, information technology, electrical engineering, or related industry
Responsibilities
  • Assist in implementing the VDC Program.
  • Implement the Building Information Modeling (BIM) execution plan on new projects.
  • Resolve BIM-related issues in Contract Documents.
  • Work alongside project teams to understand project requirements, client expectations, and governing building codes/standards to create, maintain, and deliver reliable and compliant BIM designs.
  • Set up projects in systems, including but not excluded to, Revit, BIM360, and Navisworks.
  • Detect clashes in the model.
  • Update Procore RFI/Observations. Complete a weekly review of these with the project team and ensure any new items are entered and tracked to completion.
  • Create and deliver a completely coordinated federated model for viewing at weekly meetings.
  • Assist teams in resolving critical design conflicts, coordination issues
  • Collaborate with the design team, trade partners, and project teams to successfully deliver coordinated 3D models on projects within scheduled timeframes.
  • Resolve conflict issues and design-related RFI’s prior to 100% construction documents.
  • Lead weekly BIM Coordination meetings with the design and subcontractor teams, including reporting, updating dashboards, preparing documents (i.e. mark-ups, screenshots), maintaining and distributing meeting minutes, and tracking action items and commitments.
  • Lead the design coordination meetings and update reports with the status of each action item.
  • Establish and manage LOD requirements to completion at each plan progression.
  • Establish and maintain detailed modeling requirements through clash analysis and other means necessary to allow for the accurate creation of BIM designs consistent with project criteria.
  • Assist the transition from Design to Construction coordination, including: Preparing subcontractors for the project - Review BIM execution plan requirements with the sub's in-house BIM team
  • Work with the Project team to ensure the BIM language included in contracts has been agreed to by all parties.
  • Assist with the preparation of the coordination schedule for the project.
  • Ensure BIM design and construction coordination schedules are tracking in line with the project schedule and report any slippage to the project team.
  • Prepare models for easy viewing on iPads for field operations.
  • Coordinate and resolve field issues with sub-contractors.
  • Provide support to field teams post-coordination and ensure that the 3D model is up to date with latest design/ field changes through the course of construction.
  • Assist field employees and teams in the use of VDC on projects.
  • Support continuous improvement endeavors for the VDC group.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Working knowledge of laser scanners, 3D capture, and drones is a plus.

JPI acquires site for 189-unit Uptown Apartment development. News | March 18, 2026 | Jasmine Kilman Seattle & Northwest + Apartment Buildings JPI, a developer of multifamily communities, announced the acquisition of a development site at 400 4th Ave. W in Seattle, Washington. JPI, in partnership with Stream Real Estate LLC, plans to build a 10-story, 189-unit Class A community in the heart of the Uptown Neighborhood in Seattle. The project aims to provide larger, family-sized housing, with one-quarter of the units designated to two- or three-bedroom layouts. "This project will create generous living spaces with meaningful outdoor amenities in an urban location with fantastic proximity to civic attractions, entertainment, arts, retail, and employment," said Mollie Fadule, chief financial and investment officer at JPI. The development has been designed to maximize outdoor amenity areas, connecting future residents to nature in a walkable, urban community. The 4th & Harrison land has a 40-foot change in elevation on the site. The project will feature sweeping views of Puget Sound, downtown Seattle, and the Space Needle. JPI lands $114M loan for Grand Prairie apartment community. Texas + Apartment Buildings JPI in partnership with Anchor Loans closed on construction financing for Jefferson Southwest Parkway, a planned $114 million Class A garden-style apartment community located at 4700 Lake Ridge Parkway in Grand Prairie, Texas. Slated for delivery in 2027, Jefferson Southwest Parkway will feature 439 multifamily units, including studio, one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments. A suite of amenities includes a pool, fitness center, dog park, and a large clubhouse. Between Dallas and Fort Worth, Jefferson Southwest Parkway offers easy access to major interstates and state highways, ensuring seamless connectivity throughout the Metroplex. Residents will also benefit from direct access to scenic walking trails in the wooded area on the north end of the property. According to its website, JPI has nine apartment complexes under construction and has sold more than 30 in Texas and California. LONG BEACH, Calif (Nov. 6, 2025) - JPI, a leader in Class A multifamily development, in partnership with Tokyo Tatemono US Ltd. and BMO Bank, has closed on construction financing for Portico, a $150 million, mixed-use development in Long Beach, Calif. Located at 450 The Promenade North, Portico marks the first phase of the highly anticipated Mosaic redevelopment project, formerly known as City Place Long Beach. Slated for delivery in 2028, Portico will feature 272 multifamily units, including studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and three-bedroom apartments - 16 of which will be designated as affordable housing units. The development will also include 18,841 square feet of ground-floor retail, offering direct access to the pedestrian promenade and enhancing the area's walkability and vibrancy.
