CLEAR provides a subscription-based service that speeds up the identity verification process at security checkpoints, primarily targeting frequent travelers, sports fans, and event-goers. The service allows members to use dedicated lanes at airports, stadiums, and other venues, significantly reducing wait times. CLEAR utilizes biometric technology, such as fingerprints and iris scans, for touchless ID verification, replacing traditional identification methods. This approach not only enhances convenience but also ensures a safer entry experience. Unlike its competitors, CLEAR emphasizes data security, being SAFETY Act Certified by the Department of Homeland Security, which assures users that their personal information is protected and not sold. The company's goal is to streamline the security process while maintaining a high standard of data protection, making travel and event attendance more efficient for its members.
