Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (concentration in Environmental Science, Energy Resources, Policy, Engineering a plus, or related field).
  • 8+ years of program management experience in an energy or energy related field (experience developing, designing, and managing successful energy efficiency programs a plus).
  • PMP certification preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Project).
Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including community outreach partners, community energy partners, regional area coordinators, technicians, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, regulatory agencies, and community groups.
  • Ensure that the project is executed in accordance with technical specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Track and report program status to ICF management and to the client.
  • Continue to enhance and expand ICF’s energy practice throughout California.
  • Prioritize program activities as necessary to meet performance goals.
  • Demonstrate quality work, passion for what we do, and high ethical standards.
  • Be a strong communicator and build a culture of no surprises.
  • Promote an inclusive culture of transparency, accountability, and collaboration.
