Requirements
- A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a major in computer science, finance, or mathematics is required.
- At least 4 years of work experience in a quality assurance role is required.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language is required.
- Proficiency with SQL is required.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and practices is required.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to work in a highly demanding, fast-paced environment is required.
- Knowledge of Windows operating system platforms and Office applications is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive automated test strategies and test cases for functional testing.
- Review business and functional requirements to produce test strategies and test cases.
- Perform automated functional and regression testing on internally developed applications to certify them for production implementation.
- Report and manage software issues and testing activities throughout the software development life cycle.
- Work with other quality assurance department members to create and maintain automated regression scripts.
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience working in major financial institutions is preferred.
- Knowledge of the CDS business and industry is preferred.
- Experience with FitNesse framework script development is preferred.
- GUI automation skills are a plus.
