Manager – Corporate Accounting

Experience Level
  • You have a Bachelors of Accounting and 4+ years experience in any of the following:
  • Audit or accounting advisory (e.g., technical accounting, transaction advisory) from a Big 4 or boutique advisory firm
  • Accounting or financial reporting in high-growth startup environment
  • Accounting or financial reporting at a F500, or in an industry known for its complexity (e.g., financial services, SaaS, engineering, insurance, healthcare)
  • You have significant experience with developing, testing, or auditing SEC-compliant systems of internal control over financial reporting
  • You are very familiar with accounting systems, tools, and close processes in a scaled, rigorous internal control environment
  • You have experience with complex consolidations, and/or technical accounting implementations (ASC 606, ASC 842, CECL)
  • You have experience compiling and reviewing financial statements and supporting schedules

  • Own and scale the monthly corporate close and financial reporting process, including reviewing and preparing journal entries, reconciliations, financial schedules, and overseeing of the work of external accounting support
  • Manage and improve the corporate expense process, including approving invoices and reviewing T&E
  • Support varied cross-functional projects, including development of internal control systems, process automation initiatives, audit support, and consolidating and reporting the results of 40+ operating companies
  • Prepare financial statements and contribute key reporting for executive dashboards and external investors using both Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), special purpose, and management frameworks
  • Provide supporting analysis for technical accounting research and ad-hoc Corporate Development initiatives
