- A minimum of two years of experience is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or equivalent experience is required.
- New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist licensure from the New York Education Department is required.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative laboratory tests in the Chemistry and Hematology sections.
- Supervise and coordinate some activities of laboratory personnel during test performance.
- Train and guide laboratory technologists.
- Participate in problem-solving processes.
- Maintain laboratory quality assurance and quality control standards.
- Work full-time on the evening shift from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., including rotating weekends and holidays.
- ASCP certification is preferred.
