Requirements
  • 5+ years of software development experience with Java in a professional business environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative environment
  • Proficient in developing and debugging in Eclipse
  • Experience with one or more BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Sisense, etc
  • Experience working with ETL processes and databases such as Postgres, Snowflake, Redshift, etc
  • Experience with data modeling/engineering for BI or analytics purposes
  • Experience in front end development with ReactJs
  • Experience with Git
Responsibilities
  • Work as a member of a global cross-functional team in an agile development environment to build and maintain Embedded BI and analytics features across Redwood’s suite of products
  • Design and implement new software components to meet business requirements
  • Maintain and enhance existing software components
  • Design and maintain Dashboards, Configurations, Data Models, and other resources in our BI tools
  • Write high quality and maintainable code with our development stack
  • Collaborate with Technical Support and customers to troubleshoot production issues
  • Manage code and tickets using Jira and Git
  • Contribute to test infrastructure, including writing unit tests and integration tests
  • Participate and provide feedback on code reviews
  • Document product changes and new features
  • Present product changes and new features to product stakeholders and customers
  • This role may require up to 5-10% travel for team meetings or industry events.
