About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Strategic Marketing Lead for our exciting Professional Sports vertical. Orion provides digital transformation services to many of the top professional sports leagues across the world. This person will be pivotal to leveraging our sports partnerships for corporate branding opportunities, elite networking events, and other creative marketing programs to drive lead generation across all our verticals for our digital transformation services.
The Strategic Market Leader, Professional Sports will work closely with the Professional Sports & Entertainment Vertical Leader on direction and KPIs and the Head of Marketing & Communications for support and guidance on executing on all brand, event and joint content opportunities.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Coordinate closely with our partner to leverage all marketing opportunities and develop a Master Marketing & PR Program including joint content to be produced, an events calendar, videos to be produced with sports talent, joint case studies, stadium advertising (stadium, broadcast), social media, PR
- Manage all content and ad creation and coordinate with our partner and Orion’s creative team to develop all digital assets
- Work closely with Orion’s vertical leaders and vertical marketing leads to produce and execute all exclusive events for their key targets, including guest speakers, and act as master of ceremonies where needed
- Track and report on all key strategic performance metrics
- Run campaigns and marketing activities
- Work collaboratively within the organization o devise ways for lead generation
- Brand development
Qualifications To Be Successful
- You must be a sports enthusiast
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field
- Experience in top tier European football club will be a plus
- Experienced marketer with a track record of success in growing reach
- Expertise in sponsorship activation
- Proactive, with ability to self-direct through multiple concurrent projects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized
- Creativity, vision and enthusiasm
Salary Range : £75,000 to £80,000
