JOB TITLE:  

Animal Science Lab Assistant

JFNTMP

JOB PURPOSE:   

Laboratory assistant for the Animal Science Department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

-cleaning and organization of the lab
-preparing supplies for sample collection
-other lab protocols as needed

COMPETENCIES: responsible and reliable

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 

Must be eligible, have received and accepted work study award through Student Financial Aid for the applicable semester and/or academic year.   

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

• Agriculture or STEM major

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS APPLICABLE TO CAREERS: 

This experience would be most beneficial to careers in the Animal Science/Science fields. Students will gain knowledge and understanding about department research, create connections and collaborate with faculty and staff.
