- Proficiency in problem-solving with limited direction and making confident decisions
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong multi-tasking ability with a focus on prioritization
- Experience in troubleshooting complex scripts is an added advantage
- Familiarity with Molecular Biology techniques is desirable
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team and build strong relationships
- Self-motivated with a high level of initiative
- Drive for continual improvement
- Proficient in MS Office suite
- Provide service, support, and troubleshooting for automated processes and instrumentation
- Perform and coordinate maintenance work on laboratory equipment
- Carry out Installation, Operational, and Process Qualifications on new equipment as necessary
- Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure all documentation is completed accurately according to regulatory requirements
- Maintain well-organized equipment records
- Troubleshoot, conduct root cause analysis, and problem solving on lab instruments
- Effectively coordinate with vendors as required for equipment issues
- Prepare documentation as needed for equipment operation and maintenance
- Propose and design plans for process improvements
- Represent the Service Engineering Group in cross-functional meetings
- Maintain equipment parts inventory and equipment records
- Undertake special projects as assigned
