Requirements
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of General Imaging Ultrasound technical or clinical industry experience.
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers certification in Abdomen or Obstetrics/Gynecology.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, at least 80% of the time, including four to five days per week, overnights, and some weekends, within the United States.
  • Residence in San Antonio or the surrounding area.
  • Demonstrated experience working on GE Healthcare Ultrasound systems.
  • Deep understanding of clinical education training and associated process implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex information and modifying messaging based on the audience.
  • Knowledge of Healthcare Information Systems, networking, and information technology.
Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and clinical leadership during the pre-sales process by demonstrating the full range of Ultrasound products, including potential uses, product capabilities, and benefits to customers to drive regional revenue.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and execute objective-based system training for customers, and monitor and report on training outcomes.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and clinical liaison to the sales organization to strengthen the team's and customers' clinical capabilities and relationships while advancing business opportunities.
  • Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence to the business.
  • Advance new product features and clinical techniques, and partner with customers to develop training plans and strategies that support new product assimilation and ongoing training needs.
  • Support trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstrations and customer training.
  • Act as the focal point for the modality or team, identify customer satisfaction issues, and assist with escalations, problem determination, and specialty training requests.
  • Develop relationships with customers, highlighting key opinion leaders where necessary, to standardize and optimize protocols and support clinical education initiatives.
  • Promote adoption of a hybrid training delivery approach for customers.
  • Maintain required written pre- and post-training documentation in accordance with global guidance.
  • Maintain applicable quality-management processes and Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.
Desired Qualifications
  • Registered Vascular Technologist, Adult Cardiac, Breast, or Musculoskeletal certification is preferred.

GE HealthCare secures CE mark for Photonova Spectra photon-counting CT system

GE HealthCare has received CE mark approval for its Photonova Spectra photon-counting computed tomography system, enabling commercial sales in markets recognising CE marking. The clearance follows US Food and Drug Administration approval and Japanese regulatory clearance in March 2026. The system uses GE HealthCare's Deep Silicon detector technology to deliver ultra-high definition spectral and spatial imaging. It processes data volumes up to 50 times greater than conventional CT systems, utilising Nvidia's accelerated computing platform. Clinical collaborations are underway at UZ Brussel in Belgium and Rigshospitalet in Denmark to evaluate the system across cardiology, neurology, oncology and musculoskeletal imaging. The CE mark follows more than $5 billion in innovation investment by GE HealthCare.

GE HealthCare launches three new Vivid cardiovascular ultrasound systems for diverse care settings

GE HealthCare has introduced three new cardiovascular ultrasound systems to its Vivid portfolio: Vivid Explorer 1, Vivid Advanced 1, and Vivid Focus 1. The systems were unveiled at the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2026 in Munich, Germany. Each system targets different clinical settings whilst sharing a common technology foundation with the ultra-premium Vivid Pioneer. Vivid Explorer is designed for high-volume echo labs, Vivid Advanced for mid-size hospitals and cardiology practices, and Vivid Focus for everyday cardiac imaging. All three systems use cSound imaging technology and include AI-enabled automation tools to streamline echo workflows. GE HealthCare has launched Invenia ABUS Prime and ABUS StreamVue, expanding its breast imaging portfolio with solutions for supplemental screening in women with dense breasts.
