THE POSITION

Are you looking for an exciting internship experience? Our paid Internship Program provides real-world experience for students who are interested in the live entertainment industry. After finishing this program, you will have gained broad experience in various aspects live entertainment business. You can also expect to apply your academic learning to real-world situations and cultivate your leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. This is a part-time position, up to 25 hours per week.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

• Primary function will be to maintain tour documents and support the tour director functions which works closely with all of the information below.
  • Maintain Master calendar routings
  • Compile Merch rates grids
  • Artist analysis
  • Review Scaling maps
  • Review Ticket Counts
  • Maintain Artist hit list
  • Analyzing price resistance
  • Learning how to read audits
  • Update Artist pipeline
  • Maintain competitive tracker

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

• Understanding the function of how a tour is planned and executed. From the intial steps of identifying an artist and how to decide which rooms they should play to routing, analziying business plans, ticket prices, maintaing P&L documents, assets needed for marketing and deal structures. What is the philosophy of building a touring career for an artist.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled in an accredited College or University; Preferably in a field related to the internship you are applying for
• Junior or Senior standing
• Previous experience preferred (school, internship, or professional)
• Creative thinker and problem solver
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Acute sense of judgment, tact, and diplomacy
• A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs
• Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50+ lbs. and occasional sitting.
