Requirements
  • Hands-on experience in power converter testing, debugging, and analysis.
  • Strong understanding of mixed signal circuit designs, schematics, and detailed component selection.
  • Experience in performing PCB layout for high-voltage and high-power circuits.
  • Ability to develop embedded software for timing-constrained control algorithms.
  • Familiarity with microcontroller peripherals and interfaces (PWM, ADC, SPI, CAN) for bare-metal and real-time operating systems.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with mechanical and system engineers to address thermal management and packaging requirements.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for technical documentation and testing reports.
  • Ability to translate high-level technical requirements into corresponding test cases and validation processes.
  • Knowledge of scripting and control automation for test and validation processes.
  • Demonstrated passion and ability to learn new skills and adapt to evolving project needs.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, build, test, and integration of both our Ion and Gamma platforms.
  • Take ownership of schematic capture and PCB layout for high-voltage, high-power circuits.
  • Lead the bench bring-up, debugging, and validation of prototypes.
  • Collaborate with mechanical and system engineers on thermal management and packaging solutions for power electronics systems.
  • Write and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, validation reports, and schematics.
  • Develop embedded software to implement advanced control algorithms in power converters, ensuring real-time constraints are met.
  • Perform hands-on testing, debugging, and optimization of power converter systems.
