Adparo Billing Lead

We are seeking a detail-oriented Billing Lead responsible for overseeing and managing Accounts Receivable (related to Financial Assistance) for one or more of the healthcare providers we service. The role involves ensuring new claims are submitted in a timely fashion, analyzing outstanding accounts receivable, implementing efficient collection strategies, clearly directing a team of on-shore and/or off-shore billing specialists, and ensuring compliance with program policies. This Billing Lead will play a key role in driving and maintaining the financial performance of our clients.

What You Will Do: 

• Claims Submission: Ensure all new claims are submitted in a timely fashion.
• Claims Management: Monitor and analyze accounts receivable to identify outstanding claims and discrepancies and ensure timely payments.
• Lead and Direct Billing Specialists: On a daily basis, ensure on-shore and/or off-shore Billing Specialists have a clear task list and are held accountable for successful and accurate completion of all tasks
• Point of Escalation: Serve as a point of escalation for the Billing Specialist team, which may include contacting organizations to resolve payment delays and securing timely collections.
• Financial Reporting: Generate reports to task Billing Specialists and track outstanding balances, collection activities, and account reconciliations; ensure financial assistance collections are reconciled monthly.
• Analysis: Identify trends and analyze the overall status of Accounts Receivable for each client serviced; report status updates to both the client and internal Annexus Health leadership.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external departments such as billing team, finance team, and client to optimize processes.
• Compliance: Ensure collections activities align with company policies, regulations, and contractual agreements.

About You: 

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Proven experience in accounts receivable, collections, or financial analysis.
• Strong proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
