  • Three (3) years’ experience with DoD planning conferences and exercise execution.
  • Experience with Microsoft software applications, extensive knowledge in concepts and principles of Air Base Ground Defense and USAF Antiterrorism programs or have graduated the Air Base Defense Command course and the Level 2 Anti-Terrorism Course.
  • TS with SCI Eligibility security clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Develop, review, and coordinate for Government approval FP Plans and Executive Summaries associated with USCENTCOM and 9AF (AFCENT) Exercises and Engagements.
  • Develop and publish FP plans for Government approval.
  • Coordinate security and logistics requirements and support execution efforts on all TSC events as necessary.
  • Participate as needed in Exercise and Engagement planning conferences to include Initial Planning Conference (IPC), Mid-Term Planning Conference (MPC) and Final Planning Conference (FPC).
  • Support the lead 9AF (AFCENT)/FP representative on Exercise and Engagement events.
  • Participate in 9AF (AFCENT) Threat Working Groups (TWGs) associated with 9AF (AFCENT) Exercises or Engagement events.
  • Assist in the development of component and FP plans, instructions and orders associated with current and future contingency operations.
  • Participate and serve as force protection subject matter expert in all 9AF (AFCENT) Operational Planning Team (OPT) events.
  • Assist Branch Chief in managing FP Force Tracking Nomenclatures and Timed Phased Force Deployment Listings in support of Global Force Management processes and requirements.
  • Assists Branch Chief in managing and completing tasks within TMT.
  • Support FP Staff with Management Internal Control Toolset (MICT) and Commander’s Inspection Management Board (CIMB). Oversee inspection checklists within MICT and drafts briefings/updates as required.
  • Serve as the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for the supplement to CCR 525-42, 9AF (AFCENT) SUP, Mission Assurance Program, establishing policy and processes to effectively manage the 9AF (AFCENT) Mission Assurance Program.
  • Serve as the liaison for the USCENTCOM Joint Security Office Mission Assurance Branch (CCJ3-JSO-MA) and provide monthly updates to the USCENTCOM Mission Assurance Portal ensuring information is current and all documents are uploaded, as required.
  • Coordinate and schedule the Mission Assurance Working Group (MAWG)/Mission Assurance Steering Group (MASSG) and publish meeting minutes to include decisions and actions.
  • Attend monthly Deep Dives and Antiterrorism Working Groups (ATWG) with USCENTCOM to provide status updates of all Task Critical Assets (TCAs) and discuss any requests for closure or risk acceptance.
  • Deep dives will focus on revalidating, updating or deleting TCAs, updating asset descriptions and loss impact statements, adding missing/emerging assets, ensuring TCAs are updated with current Basic Element Information (BEI), in addition to and supporting the USCENTCOM Critical Asset Identification Process (CAIP).
  • Manage and populate the USCENTCOM Mission Assurance (MA) database and the USCENTCOM Core Vulnerability Assessment Management Program (CVAMP) Bridging Strategy.
  • Manage the Risk Management Plan (RMP) development process for 9AF (AFCENT) assets within the AOR and assist subordinate level PMs in development of their RMP, IAW 9AF (AFCENT) and USCENTCOM Mission Assurance Regulations.
  • Ensure RMPs are completed for all USCENTCOM Tier 1, select Tier 2 TCAs, and provide feedback to senior leadership.
  • Coordinate with Installation PMs on TCA risk assessments, remediation and mitigation requirements.
  • Address any issues where the collaboration efforts of all FP programs would be required for detailed analysis and risk management recommendation(s).
  • Coordinate with installations on all mitigation actions affecting 9AF (AFCENT) critical assets. For non-DoD owned MA critical assets affecting the functional assigned mission, coordinate as required to determine any mitigation/remediation actions necessary and priorities for support of non-DoD resources.
  • Conduct a program review of subordinate level MA programs annually using the DoD MA benchmarks and document results.
  • Coordinate Component MA training annually, including one-time initial and annual MA training, as the environment permits.
  • Training will cover CENTCOM Critical Asset Management System (CC-CAMS) functions, review of updated MA requirements and benchmarks, and MA training as outlined in USCENTCOM OPORD 05-03 and DoD Instruction (DoDI) 3020.45, Mission Assurance (MA) Construct.
  • Attend AT Forums (ATWG, Threat Working Group (TWG), Anti-terrorism Executive Council (ATEC).
  • Support and assist USCENTCOM and other Service Components with conducting Mission Assurance Assessment and/or Vulnerability Assessments as requested.
