Seneca Holdings is seeking a Technical Proposal Writer to join a highly motivated, customer-focused team in our Chantilly, VA office (hybrid schedule). 

The ideal candidate will support the Business Development Operations team to write and develop a variety of content.  This individual will develop, update, edit and maintain a wide range of documentation, including but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), capability briefings and other presentations, content for marketing materials, quick reference guides, training materials, past performance documentation, and proposal content.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather and verify information necessary for documentation.
• Develop a deep understanding of the organization’s core competencies for content development.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, precise, maintains an appropriate tone and adheres to grammatical standards.
• Implement and manage version control procedures to track changes and updates to documentation.
• Review and edit documents for content, style, clarity, and consistency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required

• 5-8 years of federal experience in technical writing and editing.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and synthesize content effectively.
• Preferred knowledge and understanding of proposal writing.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
