  • 14 years or more of relevant experience
  • BTech or above or equivalent experience in related field. Advance Degree be required
  • Subject Matter Expert in complete Retail solutions and strong in Supply chain domain with expertise in Manhattan Warehouse Management and Order Management Systems
  • Good working experience with domain such as Warehouse Management System (WMS), Distribution Order Management, EEM, Transportation Management System (TMS), Billing Management, Supply Chain intelligence, JDA Allocations, SAP IS Retail, Oracle Retail applications, Slotting optimization and Labor Management
  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development techniques and fluency in software languages and application programming interfaces
  • Demonstrates general understanding of hardware/software platforms including but not limited to operating systems, databases, application servers, web servers and integration technologies
  • Demonstrates knowledge of software development, life cycle, modeling of business processes, application design patterns, business/functional documents
  • Applies advanced knowledge and understanding of concepts, principles, and technical capabilities to manage a wide variety of projects
Responsibilities
  • Responsible for designing, developing, implementing and supporting applications, systems and IT products required to achieve the company's business objectives
  • Plans and executes system implementations that ensure success and minimize risk of system outages or other negative production impacts
  • Analyzes production system operations using tools such as monitoring, capacity analysis and outage root cause analysis to identify and drive change that ensures continuous improvement in system stability and performance
  • Leads/Works on or may lead complex projects of large scope
  • Determines method for completion of new projects with team
  • Acts as a local mentor to less experienced colleagues
  • Manages department operations and supervises professional employees, front line supervisors and/or business support staff
  • Ensures employees operate within guidelines
  • Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
  • Gains consensus from various parties involved
