Job Description

The Ecosystem Engagement team builds products that help merchants adopt Square products and also stay engaged with the Square product ecosystem. The team is responsible for the homepage, information architecture, and website navigation of the Seller Dashboard — used by millions of sellers to manage their businesses. Our mission is to bind together the suite of Square products into a single cohesive experience for our Sellers and allows them to easily and intuitively accomplish their job . You will work with PMs, Analysts, Marketing Teams, Creatives and Engineers to conceive, execute on initiatives that make this possible!

You will:

• Be exposed to and impact real business challenges
• Lead and participate in critical technical, design, strategy and product discussions with multiple stakeholders and leaders across the organization and company
• Identify and explore ways to improve conversion, experimentation. 
• Continually seek to optimize and improve the seller experience
• Iterate rapidly on features, tooling, and processes
• Mentor and support your colleagues to help grow the team

Qualifications

You have...

• 8+ years of experience working on engineering teams that deliver products at scale
• Proficiency in building web apps and large-scale applications
• Successfully lead a team of developers to deliver a large project with multiple stakeholders
• The ability to breakdown complex requirements into components / deliverable milestones
• Built applications with modern front-end and server-side technologies and frameworks.
• Interest in quick prototyping, and helping validate assumptions/hypotheses. 
• Worked in a collaborative environment and partnered with other cross-disciplinary teams to achieve optimal results.
• A demonstrated ability to help develop engineers with less experience on your team
