Requirements
  • 5+ years of development and project management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, Real Estate Finance or a related field
  • Establish partnerships and serve as liaison between the client and design and construction professionals
  • Manage successful projects and meet/exceed client expectations and deadlines
  • Review and evaluate qualitative program aspects with the owner
  • Initiate and manage the procurement of design, construction, and consultant services
  • Motivate and direct internal project resources
  • Draft, review, communicate, negotiate, and enforce contractual documents
  • Direct and monitor project budget and schedule
  • Create meaningful analysis of budgets and schedules
  • Manage the RFP process
  • Establish, direct, and document project meetings
  • Engage with clients, city officials, architects, engineers, contractors, and consultants
  • Anticipate potential changes to budget or schedule and provide solutions
  • Organize and review value engineering alternates with owner
  • Facilitate procurement of peer reviews and specialty consultants
  • Oversee contractor and vendor onsite activities
  • Authorize contracts and purchase orders
  • Manage project close out process
  • Represent PMA in networking and business development opportunities
