  • You are expected to work with Software Engineers, Product Personnel and other parts of the business to review requirements and proposed solutions and provide input into these processes (which may include, but is not limited to, ideation, algorithms, processes and feature design) which may produce intellectual property that belongs to Pushpay
  • You will be expected to be developing testing artifacts (which may include, but is not limited to, processes, designs, and automation in the form of code, documentation or scripts) that is then incorporated into Pushpay products, or the process of building products, which may produce intellectual property that belongs to Pushpay
  • Work closely with product personnel, designers, SRE and engineers to make products that have the best user experience possible
  • Know your team's features inside out
  • Be aware of, and contribute to refining, the engineering "lore and custom" (aka. culture, policies, and procedures)
  • Help recruit great people
  • Develop deep technical knowledge in an important part of Pushpay's platform
  • Analyze, verify and triage issues submitted by users, peers and other parts of the business; coordinating high priority issues and facilitating communications between the escalator and the engineering team
  • Helps to maintain a groomed backlog of issues and regularly raises the profile of high-ranking issues with your engineering peers
  • Makes suggestions and raises topics in QA Guild meetings
  • Checks assumptions, works closely with developers to gain better understanding of features
  • Able to own testing of small-medium features from kick-off to release with some assistance from Senior QAs
