The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and implementation of core features within the DataFabric team. You will work on complex technical challenges, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers, contributing significantly to both our product and our engineering culture.While experience in AI/ML is a bonus, what we value most is strong software engineering expertise. Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and robust software solutions for the DataFabric platform.
Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of our systems.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, tools, and infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying relevant advancements to our products.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
4+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, or data-intensive applications.
Excellent Object Oriented coding skills in C# (.Net Core), Python or Java. Nice to have Go Lang Experience
Demonstrable experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with relational databases for Data Integrations (MySQL, Postgres, Snowflake, MariaDB etc) and messaging technologies such as Kafka/NATS.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues across multiple systems.
Strong Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, agile environment.
A self-driven problem solver with a passion for analyzing and designing elegant solutions for complex, high-tech problems.

Bonus Points

Familiarity with data governance, data security, or data privacy concepts.
Exposure to LLMs Integration and emerging AI agent communication standards like — MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent-to-Agent).
Contributions to open-source projects.
Experience in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
