Requirements
  • A Master's Degree is required in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, or Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
  • NC behavioral health provider licensure or license eligibility is required, including eligibility as a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed Psychological Associate, Clinical Mental Health Counselor or Associate, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist.
  • Ability to work full-time is required.
  • A driver's license is required.
  • Ability to commute to up to three separate locations in Greenville, North Carolina is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide evaluation and consultation appropriate to the pediatric medical setting.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans and monitor care components.
  • Deliver brief, evidence-based behavioral health and health behavior interventions.
  • Facilitate patient and family education on presenting concerns.
  • Consult with physicians and allied health providers to support decision making, build on medical interventions, and improve provider-patient relationships.
  • Offer supervision and training to other members of the care team.
  • Assist in the design, development, and implementation of clinical programs.
  • Participate in program development, evaluation, and quality improvement.
  • Evaluate the ongoing biopsychosocial needs of patients, identify needs and problems, and determine treatment plans.
  • Provide psychotherapy and case management to assigned patients and input regarding the care of program patients.
  • Engage as a primary therapist in individual and family therapies.
  • Obtain pertinent data in accordance with program and regulatory standards.
  • Uphold agency policies and standards and the ethical standards of the appropriate discipline.
  • Collaborate with care teams to provide triage evaluation and crisis intervention.
