- At least 7 years of experience in backend software development with strong expertise in core Java and object-oriented programming principles.
- Experience with the Spring Framework, object-relational mapping frameworks such as Hibernate, MySQL, Git, and REST, SOAP, and GraphQL API integrations.
- Comfort regularly communicating, brainstorming, and troubleshooting directly with non-technical and technical stakeholders.
- Advanced English proficiency, written and verbal, for continuous communication with international stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating ownership and business acumen.
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems, RESTful, SOAP, and GraphQL APIs, and relational database structures using Java and MySQL.
- Optimize backend performance and queries to efficiently handle high traffic, large datasets, and real-time inventory synchronization.
- Lead integration efforts with payment gateways, shipping providers, messaging platforms, and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders, product managers, and the Chief Technology Officer to align technical functionality with business strategies.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues while owning system stability.
- Mentor team members through constructive code reviews and ensure high code quality, security best practices, and clean architecture.
- Experience or exposure to SAP Commerce or Hybris architecture and customizations.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services cloud platforms and microservices deployment.
- Familiarity with high-volume data pipelines, event-driven sagas, or artificial-intelligence-first development workflows.
- Exposure to frontend basics including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
