Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in supply chain planning, S&OP, demand forecasting, or network planning.
  • Experience working in international or complex supply chain environments.
  • Familiarity with planning tools and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis, Oracle).
  • Strong data analysis, stakeholder engagement, and project leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in English (business level); Additional proficiency in Dutch, French, German, or other European languages is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of JD’s end-to-end supply chain structure across multiple business units, including customer demand forecasting, sourcing and purchasing optimisation, supply planning, delivery strategy, and logistics execution.
  • Optimise and manage the efficient flow of goods, information, and services within the supply chain network to support scalable and cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee vendor performance and drive operational excellence through data-driven KPIs and continuous improvement programmes.
  • Lead and support cross-functional strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing supply chain performance, agility, and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct complex business and operational analyses to identify opportunities to improve both internal processes and external partner performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement best practices and ongoing process optimisation.
  • Work with internal technical teams to drive multi-system process improvements and support cross-platform integration.
  • Develop and implement scalable solutions to enable continued growth of JD’s product and service offerings in the European market.
  • Define project scopes, set clear requirements and KPIs, and lead the execution of initiatives across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts focused on reducing risk, improving service levels, and shortening lead times across the supply chain.
  • Align processes, systems, and policies with external partners to ensure long-term, sustainable mutual benefit.
  • Analyse production schedules and demand forecasts to ensure customer requirements are met while maximising site and resource utilisation.
Desired Qualifications
  • Background in e-commerce, FMCG, or logistics industries preferred.
  • Additional proficiency in Dutch, French, German, or other European languages is a strong plus.
