Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • A minimum of 2–4 years of relevant professional experience is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in creating documents, communications, presentations, spreadsheets, and ad hoc reports is required.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the School of Nursing Dean's calendar, including scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, materials, and minutes and ensure appropriate follow-up on action items.
  • Draft, edit, and coordinate correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents on behalf of the Dean.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to School of Nursing faculty and students.
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments.
  • Track and maintain departmental budgets and related records.
  • Maintain office equipment and coordinate operational support activities.
  • Identify and implement improvements to departmental processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Assist with budget preparation, monitoring, and reconciliation activities.
  • Ensure departmental funds are appropriately utilized and accurately recorded.
  • Provide budget updates and related information to the Dean of the School of Nursing.
  • Supervise work-study students as assigned by providing guidance, assigning tasks, and monitoring work quality.
  • Mentor and support students in developing skills and completing assignments.
  • Oversee event planning and execution for workshops, conferences, seminars, and other School of Nursing events.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for event development, communications, budgeting, logistics, and post-event evaluation.
  • Assist with event budget preparation, monitoring, and reconciliation.
  • Provide regular updates regarding budget status and event progress.
  • Execute special assignments by assisting with planning, establishing objectives, coordinating activities, and ensuring successful completion.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gain cooperation and facilitate project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, resolve issues, and implement adjustments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze data from multiple sources to support recordkeeping, reporting, and program management.
  • Use data insights to provide analysis and recommendations.
  • Identify and resolve issues with applications and systems to improve data accuracy and operational efficiency.
