The Accounting Senior will play an important role in the Finance organization. In this role, you will report to the Accounting Manager with key responsibilities to include preparing month-end close accruals, journal entries, and reconciliations, as well as account fluctuation analysis. You will also be responsible for maintaining the internal control environment for your responsible areas while having fun, learning, being challenged, and working for a one-of-a-kind-company!
Responsibilities
- Prepare key complex accruals with detailed explanations, posting journal entries in Netsuite.
- Perform monthly account reconciliations as assigned to analyze, research and resolve discrepancies.
- Ensuring accuracy and timely completion of month , quarter and year end deliverables.
- Prepare cash entries and reconcile bank accounts for some subsidiaries to support treasury function
- Collaborate on the accounting and finance team, contributing to a culture of inclusion and teamwork
- Analyze and prepare flux analysis for balance sheet and income statement account variances
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors to provide audit support for responsible areas and resolve any internal control items timely and as needed
- Consistently document and maintain internal control environment
- Support ad hoc analysis and reporting
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years accounting experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- NetSuite Experience
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of GAAP
- Superb attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task between core responsibilities
- Able to succeed in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Preferred Capabilities and Experience
- Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Wdesk, Blackline experience preferred
- Public company and/or national accounting firm experience preferred
Total compensation for this role is market driven, with a starting salary of $minimum of range 80k+, as well as company stock awards. Base pay is ultimately determined based on a candidate’s skills, expertise, and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental & vision coverage, health spending accounts, voluntary benefits, leave of absence policies, Employee Assistance Program, 401(k) program with employer contribution, 8 paid holidays in addition to a full-week winter shutdown and unlimited Paid Time Off policy.
