  • BS/BA in Marketing, PR, Journalism, or related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated experience:
  • Assisting in the research, planning, and strategic development of a comprehensive public relations, outreach and/or awareness campaign.
  • Working with client and project team members.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a public trust.
  • Applicants may be asked to submit samples of their work, which could include communications plans, press releases, press coverage or original writing examples.
  • Knowledge of public relations, and integrated media.
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written.
  • Strong research and organizational abilities, including interpreting large volumes of data, presenting to clients and adhering to deadlines.
  • Self-starter, with ability to independently manage tasks and handle multiple priorities.
Responsibilities
  • Provide recommendations to the client related to media coverage of public health, healthcare, energy, climate change and other projects and roll-outs.
  • Produce national, regional, trade and targeted media lists.
  • Develop communications materials in support of new or expanding programs and initiatives, including press releases and media advisories, fact sheets, toolkits, talking points and other communications products.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create external communications plans that align with and complement vertical plans in the marketing and branding space.
  • Produce impactful monitoring and metrics analysis reports that are key to communications and public affairs programs.
