Requirements
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree STEM degree or related discipline with 5 years of experience, 3 years of experience with a master’s degree (for Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer)
  • Must have a bachelor’s degree STEM degree or related discipline with 8 years of experience, 6 years of experience with a master’s degree or 3 years with a Ph.D. (for Sr. Principal RF Microwave Design Engineer)
  • Expertise in working with receiver/exciters, conducting RF performance analysis, and implementing digital beamforming
  • Knowledge in VHDL or Verilog/System Verilog FPGA programming language
  • Knowledge of Digital signal processing algorithms
  • Familiarity with FPGA design development flow
  • Experience in integrating board designs and FPGA Digital controls within a lab environment
  • Capability to troubleshoot hardware/production issues on the bench as needed
  • Familiarity with RF and digital test equipment
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to present effectively to both internal and external customers
  • Proficiency in Mixed signal Board design (RF and Digital)
  • No clearance required to start, but must have the ability to obtain and maintain DoD Clearance Secret/Top Secret or an SCI
Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate familiarity/technical ability in Subsystem Control Design
  • Subsystem requirements (hardware and software) derivation, flow-down, and configuration
  • Systems Architecture
  • Documentation experience, generating test procedures, test reports, RF requirements, data analysis, data presentation
  • Data Processing
  • Measurements and Data Reduction
  • Integrated subsystems including DREX and Antenna Hardware
  • Subsystem integration, test, and system integration
  • Conducting Test Readiness Reviews (TRR)
  • Perform in-depth analysis of hardware commanding down to the register level
Desired Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
