Post-Production Photo Editor @ Boston Red Sox

POSITION OVERVIEW:

As part of the Red Sox Creative Services department, the post-production editor will assist in the production of multimedia assets for daily social and creative content output throughout the Red Sox season. The post-production photo assistant will provide operational and technical support for the Red Sox social and creative team. PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A SHOOTING ROLE

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Creative Services and Marketing department to fulfill photography and content requests as needed. Examples of requests include:
Creating carousels for Instagram
Assembling time-lapses, GIFS, and other media in real-time
Managing Red Sox Photo Blog on Medium
Distributing Photo Galleries
Assist with archiving and maintenance of PhotoShelter
Provide editing assistance for large events.
Edit, caption, keyword, and properly archive and organize all images and files.

CHARACTERISITICS / QUALIFICATIONS:

2 to 4 years of photography and editing experience required. The ideal candidate has an eye for curating and a pulse on trends in multimedia content
Ability to work 35 hours a week at Fenway Park, including nights/weekends/holidays as needed throughout the season, with the potential for remote work.
Experience and knowledge with Adobe Creative Suite, with a strong emphasis on Photoshop and Premiere. Experience with PhotoMechanic a plus.
Experience with PhotoShelter or other DAM required.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and produce content in real-time under short deadlines, organize and prioritize numerous simultaneous projects.
