About the role:

*This role is a New York City based HYBRID position. Candidates must be located in NYC, and willing to come into the office on a hybrid basis.*

Fubo is looking for an Internal Auditor to join the Internal Audit team focusing primarily on SOX/ICFR compliance audits. This role is based in New York and will be reporting to the Director of Internal Audit. The individual will be responsible for executing all aspects of audits, including planning, walkthroughs, testing, deficiency remediation, and report writing. The individual has experience in finance or accounting and has an understanding of US GAAP and SOX 404 requirements. Must be proficient in Excel and Google Suite.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years of accounting or financial audit experience
• CPA, CIA or pursuing CPA/CIA preferred
• Comprehensive understanding of internal auditing, GAAP, PCAOB standards, SOX Compliance, COSO Framework, SEC regulations
• Big 4 or public company audit experience
• Proficient in Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
• Must be detail oriented; able to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
• Solid analytical, and research skills
• Excellent communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
• Highly organized, enthusiastic, and motivated

Responsibilities:

• Perform audit procedures to identify, measure and evaluate the effectiveness of financial and operational controls
• Determine compliance with established policies and procedures and documents and reports on the results of the work performed;
• Collaborates with process owners to document key controls and significant processes changes.
• Documents or updates annual walk-throughs, narratives and flowcharts of business process documentation based on interviews with auditees for identified key internal controls.
• Plans and executes Internal Audit and Sarbanes-Oxley audit engagement with minimal oversight and high quality.
• Preparation of clear and concise audit work papers.
• Identifies internal control deficiencies, obtains adequate and relevant documentation to substantiate audit conclusions and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure proper handling/correction of transactions included within the scope of the audit.
• Maintains up to date knowledge of Internal Audit and SOX compliance guidelines, interpretations and standards
• Supports special projects around internal control and process improvements; and other projects as assigned

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $80,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $105,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo’s annual cash bonus plans, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
