Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent.
  • 1-10+ years of experience.
  • 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a TOP SECRET Clearance.
Responsibilities
  • Creates, implements, and administrates system configuration for building process solutions for project developments and ongoing support.
  • Captures user requirements, converts requirements into configuration design, and analyzes product design to determine effects of proposed changes.
  • Configures application utilizing predefined templates to automate tasks for deployment.
  • Tests initial builds and deployed configurations, applications, and components. Identifies program conflicts and troubleshoots configuration issues.
  • Creates and defines directory structures and repositories to address products, applications, and shared component development.
  • Delivers reports for change management analysis and trouble shooting.
  • Assists in preparing time and cost estimates and identifies necessary tools for completing projects.
  • Provides ongoing maintenance and support of defined configuration and change management processes including production support.
  • Documents and coordinates changes to the company's system configurations.
  • Reviews and implements requested changes.
  • Develops documentation guidelines.
  • Evaluates needs for new and revised systems, identifies possible improvements, and makes recommendations for purchase of new hardware and software.
  • Develops protocol for measurement of results and identification of problem areas.
  • Oversees revision history of configuration changes.
  • Work closely with program management, systems engineers, quality managers and representatives, draftsmen and design/manufacturing engineers in a concurrent engineering environment.
  • Develop and administer Configuration Management Plans.
  • Prepare for and conduct major configuration audits.
  • Other duties as assigned.
