  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business, engineering, or equivalent required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 10+ year experience in logistics, supply chain, inventory management, warehouse management, or transportation management.
  • 5+ years project management experience in large scale, global implementation projects (Agile methodology preferred).
  • 5+ years’ experience in tools using qualitative and quantitative methods to develop business strategies.
  • Proficient in business intelligence applications (Tableau preferred).
Responsibilities
  • Create and execute TMS and visibility strategies using robust applications through a program management methodology.
  • Drive operational efficiencies by leveraging TMS and visibility systems and applications.
  • Lead global TMS, visibility, WMS, and freight audit & payment initiatives and align cross-functionally with leaders across Operations, Sourcing, Procurement and Digital.
  • Maintain relationships with supply chain applications providers (Oracle, project44, Redwood, Körber Supply Chain, and others).
  • Drive automated customer-focused solutions across all operations within a business segment and across business segments that reduce risk, increase efficiency and velocity.
  • In partnership with Segment and functional leaders and regional operations, build and implement global supply chain vision and strategy to support growth.
  • Monthly reporting on financial and operational performance by using business intelligence applications.
  • Support nVent’s SPARK operating management system.
  • Minimum 25% travel required, with increased travel during peak project periods.
