  • The ideal candidate has 15+ years of industry experience from having played active roles in the digital transformation of leading airlines, hotel chains, casinos, travel agencies, and other segments of the travel and hospitality space in the US using technology and business process improvements
  • Candidates may have also developed comparable expertise by serving the target industry as a senior manager at a major strategy, operations, or technology consulting firm
  • Has a point-of-view of industry trends and an ability to develop business cases and roadmaps for industry-specific requirements
  • Sponsored notable innovation and outcomes for your clients and business partners
  • Served as the trusted executive advising business and IT partners on solutions with most impact to their objectives
  • Has overseen teams in a matrix organization to design, develop, and bring new product and solutions to market. The role requires a high degree of collaboration with diverse and dispersed product, marketing, sales, delivery, and customer success teams
  • Exceptional at communicating and enabling others including the creation of sales assets and other tools to provide a path for our sales teams and partners to discover and close business
  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Exceptional presentation skills in both small- and large-scale settings
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • The Industry Strategist will work closely with internal stakeholders, customers, and partners to formulate a strategy based on market opportunities, sub-vertical nuances, competitive differentiators, and commercial viability to drive industry solutions and industry ACV
  • The leader will collaborate with our product, marketing, and consulting teams to carry out the following responsibilities. The best candidates are likely to be exceptional in at least three of the five core competencies mentioned below

  • Build on competitive insights in the conversational AI and automation spaces
  • Develop commercial insight in the context of competitors and key market segments
  • Run primary research to inform and substantiate point-of-views
  • Narrative Development
  • Position Uniphore as a preferred provider of conversational AI and automation
  • Frame the from/to states in target market segments and position Uniphore as the key enabler
  • Develop narratives for Uniphore and each offering in the context of target market segments
  • Content Strategy
  • Develop sales decks for each offering in the context of market transitions in relevant target markets
  • Provide content briefs that fuel target market specific content marketing and demand generation initiatives
  • Solution Development
  • Develop storyboards for each target market illustrating Uniphore's added value over key competitors and substitutes
  • Engage in target market specific new offering development initiatives with partners, clients, and collaborators within Uniphore
  • Consulting
  • Develop consulting playbooks to enable the customer facing teams to guide clients on their transformation journeys
  • Create centers of excellence and advisory councils that boost collaboration among internal and external SMEs
  • Support customer facing teams across the entire client engagement lifecycle to help attain key results
