Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years in-depth experience as a SAP ABAP Developer in ABAP programming, Data dictionary, Module pools, Function modules, Objects/Classes, Jobs and program variants, SAP Web Dynpro, ITS development (will be an asset), BDC development, and SAP Scripts
  • Ability to use and analyze results of ABAP Test Cockpit
  • Knowledge of Fiori
  • Experience with SAP tools (e.g. email notifications, workflow, portal)
  • Experience on SAP ECC 6.0 and SAP NWDS and SAP Portal ITS
  • Knowledge of Java Script, JCL, Mainframe, Job scheduling in ZEKE
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Effective communication, team work, and collaboration skills along with can-do attitude
  • Ability to work as one team with development team in other locations
  • Iterative waterfall or agile methodology and mindset
Responsibilities
  • Estimate, analyze, design, build, unit test, do technical code reviews, support QA, implement, schedule jobs and coordinate post implementation support, etc. along with appropriate documentation of medium to high complexity programs following standard applicable RBC processes.
  • Provide consulting services on initiatives and proposals (small to large size and complexity).
  • Assess, research, and analyze business and system needs, exploring alternative options to recommend and implement technology solutions and designs that meet sponsor needs.
  • Lead small to large projects identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues.
  • Provide inputs to and effectively communicate & co-ordinate with internal service groups (i.e. Offshore team, Production Support, DBA, Architecture, Security, etc.) and external stakeholders.
  • Organize and participate in walkthroughs and reviews of technical specifications, programs and unit test plans, etc.
  • Participate in the technical evaluation of 3rd party vendors and software as applicable.
  • Facilitate small to large group meetings for technical design, decision making, problem solving and task implementation, etc.
Desired Qualifications
  • Cobol, ITS development
  • Knowledge of HR, Pension & Benefits and/or Compensation area
  • SAP HR Academy Accreditation
  • SAP S/4 Hana migration experience
  • Experience with SAP Time Evaluation functionality
  • Awareness of consistent user experience with other SAP transactions
  • Working knowledge of integration points with other SAP modules as well as ESS and MSS.
  • General awareness of process and application integration options
  • Worked in an agile or iWF environment
