We are seeking a skilled and energetic Web Applications Developer to join our Web Development team to help create, as well as support, existing .NET based work such as applications, websites, tasks and reports utilized by various internal and external stakeholders to ensure our operations run as smoothly as possible, primarily supporting Wolverine Trading and WEX. You’ll primarily focus on back-end development using C#, .NET Core and ASP with some front-end work when applicable.
Note: This role is not trading focused and is centered on creating the tools and processes that support Wolverine as a business environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform full life cycle development of software solutions using a variety of Microsoft framework-based technologies (.NET 5-6/ASP.NET/MVC/ Core, and C#) in a variety of environments
- Work with business personnel, operations, developers, and management to convert requirements into robust software solutions in a timely manner
- Support and maintain many web applications, web services, and scheduled tasks
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field
- Strong experience / desire to work with C#/.NET Core/ASP and Web Application Development
- Solid understanding of common software engineering principles and design patterns, primarily OOP
- Ability to work as an effective member of small team, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with front end technologies and SQL Server / Database design
Bonus Points:
- Experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems and IIS
- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, CSS frameworks and tools such as Bootstrap, LESS, SASS, WCF, SOA, XLST, XML, JSON, Salesforce, or SharePoint
